Happy Holla-Ween

Happy Holla-Ween everybody! 🎃👻
I hope everyone is having a safe Halloween today, & had an overall good October. My October was cool, I guess. Unfortunately, the Yankees didn't have as long of an October run as I would have liked, but 6️⃣7️⃣🤷🏽♂️⚾️🗽. The Empire #will be back; the Yankees have a process you can #actually trust. Anyways, shoutout to the Blue Jays & Dodgers for an interesting 2025 World Series, I guess 🙄. Also, October means the beginning of Knicks basketball, which is always an odd time. Like it's too early to tell anything about the team, so it's best to just wait it out & see how it all meshes together & by December, we'll see if we have a good Knicks team. Also, last Sunday, the Jets got their first win of the 2025-2026 season (1-7), which I have to state is definitely the most exciting season. After a stellar performance from Breece Hall, we finally crossed that threshold of success for the Jets. Unfortunately, right before that game, Jets legend Nick Mangold passed away & overall, the game was just super emotional & felt special. That game made me feel #really great to be a Jets fan 🛩️🏉💚.
I'm talking about sports like October isn't Spooky Month but honestly, nothing has been too spooky this month. Like it seems like the true OGs of this sexy Halloween shit have taken a backseat & gone into retirement. It seems like everyone is kinda past Halloween rn because shit is too real outside. The US Government is shut down, grocery prices are higher than ever, people are getting laid off, & Andrew Cuomo is threatening another office run in NY (Vote Sliwa 4 Mayor on Nov 4th 😉👍🏽; I like Mamdani as a dude though). It's not really the move to be outside for Halloween rn bc the vibes just aren't right. Like I remember being able to go outside on Halloween & actually have fun; actually trick or treat! Nowadays, people just dress up for Instagram Reels & GRWMs. I fear we've forgotten how to party, but that's honestly because, post-Covid, we've allowed too many weirdos into the party space. Like Williamsburg pre-2020 was some legendary shit. New York isn't like that anymore, & hopefully our next mayor will get us back to good vibes. Right now, the vibes aren't good in NY, & for Halloween overall. I think about the Victoria Secret Fashion Show, which recently happened in October, & reflect on how the nostalgia aspect of that show is what really roped everybody in. The "what it used to be" & the preservation of that is what makes something from our past special. For example, the #finest walk of that show was Adriana Lima, & that wasn't due only to her being beautiful, but also years of modeling/walking experience & a healthy preservation of "sexy" that led her walk to be #pinpoint straight so that she can shine in front of everyone after a long break. It's just like that for all of our nostalgic experiences. If we want all of our holidays & experiences to feel special again, we need to take care & preserve what makes them special. Like Thanksgiving isn't all about food, Christmas isn't all about gifts, & Halloween isn't all about titties. They're all about showing love in different ways & maintaining what us special. That's why it's called a "Holla-Day!" 😃🎉
Ok, well I'm not gonna stay on here for too long. I have a life outside of the Internet, you know? I just wanted to keep up this end of the month tradition I've been doing with T&P in 2025. Next month, I wanna drop a project at some point. I don't like people thinking I don't actually do this music shit. Certain doodledicks in the music game, for some reason, think that other people don't actually make music just because they make music differently. Well, I can shut that down next month 🔌. Idk what it's gonna be like, but I'll rock y'all 🫨😅; see y'all next month 📍
