#KnicksIn7 💙🧡

What's up AaronPleasers <3! Honestly, it's been a wild month. I've been focused on a few things, May 2025 has been dedicated to two things: my personal goals within my life & this NY Knick championship. This month I've been working on getting back to the root of why I even started doing this in the first place. If you've been reading my posts this year, it's no secret that my love for the game overall has been waning. I've even said on a previous post that this might be my last year running this website. Since 2019, I've put in a lot of work to build this website & at this point, it's more expensive to run this website than it's been profitable. It's whatever right now though. I'll probably talk about that on a later date. However, today has a much more important objective: The NY Knicks have to win these next two playoff games against the Indiana Pissers to reach the NBA Finals.

See, for 25 years, the NY Knicks have been tortured by failure. I don't know what happened during 1999 but for 25 years, us Knicks have dealt with failure, setbacks, injuries, tough losses, & disappointments. For 25 years, we've dealt with the true meaning of basketball pain. Over the past 25 years, we've had some of the most painful basketball seasons of recent history, which was enhanced by the fact that New York is one of basketball's best markets. The New York Knicks are one of the first teams to ever be established in the NBA, with Ned Irish as the leader. The NY Knicks have built a legacy that spans across not only the NBA, but basketball overall! As fans, we are so passionate about the Knicks because it represents how we overcome our daily struggles everyday in order to become successful. Like when people think of New York, they think about Manhattan or Brooklyn & the high-fashion opportunities or the nightlife, but they don't think about the 45 y/o Knick fan who spent his entire life in NY, works in NY everyday, & makes a living for his family. THAT is the NY Knick fan that needs to see this championship become a reality. New Yorkers have been thru so much in the past 25 years, & we haven't even won the NBA championship in over 50 years, but that determination of every New Yorker shines thru everyday. If you've never truly worked blue-collar in New York, you wouldn't understand the fire that exists within every Knick fan. This current Knick team represents a culmination of years of trial & error within our organization. This current NY Knickerbocker team has been overlooked & criticized for every reason you can think of: too small, no bench depth, bad defense. To those critics, I only have one thing to say: GO FUCK YOURSELF!

What the critics don't understand is the raw hunger that everyone involved with the Knicks organization has towards winning. Constantly, the NY Knicks are raising the (already high) stakes. We've given up everything to get to this point. I used to live across the street from Madison Square Garden & as much as it affected me financially & spiritually, I understand the reason why I had to be the one to be there at that time. I understand what this truly means to all of us. Trust me when I tell you that not everyone in NY agrees on how things operate here, but the one thing that most #real New Yorkers can agree on is that we need to see the Knicks win a championship. As fans, we go so fucking hard after we win because we've been thru the pain. I remember getting into fights with my older cousins defending Eddy Curry (even though 🙄). I actually wore Starbury gear! I still currently believe that Jamal Crawford has the best handle in NBA history. We've had washed superstars, bad draft picks, & heartbreaking W/L records. We've truly dealt with certain pain that no other basketball organization has had to deal with, but that is why we're never going to leave. We've seen the bad. We've seen the good. Now, it's time for us to see the NBA championship.

If I could say anything to my NY Knicks before this game, all I would say to them is that we've got your back no matter what, but please win for not only us, not only yourselves, but let's win this for one another. Win this championship for the 45y/o blue-collar worker who has to see the Knicks win one before he dies. Win this championship for the 12 y/o NY kid who loves basketball & needs to see his favorite team win in order to push him to go harder towards his dreams. Shit, even win this for James Dolan who, despite how you may feel about him, has dealt with this Knicks pain for just as long as we have. Win for me, who really put everything on the line to see this come true . Win for Tracy Morgan, who had food poisoning & threw up courtside because he loves the Knicks so much. Win for Spike Lee, who's been showing up as our unofficial mascot for decades. Win for the Stephon Marbury, who would've been a champ if he had a better center. Win for Melo, who tried his hardest to take us to where we are now, but the organization just wasn't ready. Win for every single NY Knick fan worldwide, from New York to Kazakhstan. The NY Knicks winning is bigger than just basketball. It represents to undying will & spirit of the New Yorker. We can't win these games for you, but we can fight alongside each & every single one of you players.

From Jalen Brunson, to KAT, to Josh Hart, to Deuce ✌🏽, Precious Achiuwa, Landry Shamet, Cam Payne, OG, Mikal Bridges, BIG MITCH, Leon Rose & everybody in between, as Knick fans, we truly thank you for taking us this far, but it's time that we win the NBA championship. Let's beat these Pissers two more times & take that momentum to OKC for this win. I'll always believe as long as we're in position to go forward & I'm sure there are millions of other Knick fans who feel the same way. Let's win this NBA championship!

Oh, & one last thing: GO NY GO NY GO!
