"Happy Birthday! It's a birthday party!"
It's my birthday everybody. I've reached the energetic age of 23. Honestly, I feel good. I'm eager to see what's going to come next. At 22, I feel like I've accomplished a lot. I've expanded my catalogue, moved out of my mom's house, continuously grown my record label and, most importantly, I have been improving my mind, body and soul. I definitely still slip up but everyday, I work on becoming a better person for my family, the people around me, and myself. I want to operate at the highest levels so I will.

At 23, I just want to get better. I don't feel like I should take my foot off the pedal. I want to always improve. Even if things don't go my way all the time, I know I am still improving so I'm grateful for the experience.

Just having the opportunity to improve is enough. I refuse to take my foot off necks. I need to absolutely body my goals. so I will.

I could write about the downfalls of 22 but why would I do that? I only celebrate the successes in my life. 22 was a great age but 23 will be better. Like way better. Improvement is the goal and God is my partner in achieving my goals.

Since it's my birthday, for everyone who's reading this, I have one request to ask of you: Please be your greatest self!! That would make me the happiest. I'm thankful for you all.

Also, I might drop something this Friday, but that's if y'all are really checking for that type of flava though......

Take That Chance?

Every single one of us have had to take a chance in our lives. Whether the chance was big or small, a success or a failure, you've taken that chance and endured the consequences. Chances are one of the most enjoyable parts of life. You never know what you just might get. It's crazy because chances affect you whether you take them or not. They are all around us.

Depending on your outlook and preparation, a new chance can be a disaster or a complete success. One thing is for sure though: a new chance will teach something. Every chance I take teaches me something new. Something useful. Something I need to see. I enjoy the process.

I interpret the song up there ^^^ as a song about someone taking a chance with a person they have no business taking a chance with. Aren't those always the most interesting chances? Of course, there needs to be some trust and responsibility in those chances but Golly G! We've all been there: You like so & so but they're dating who & who & they're feeling you. That chance is dangling in the air like pollen. Will you take it? See, your answer depends on how willing you are to get what you want.
Do you really want that person that bad?
Maybe! Sometimes, you just love someone that bad. Sometimes, chances are awesome but sometimes, they can bite you in the ass. You endure the consequences of every chance, whether you take it or not. Regret is a mofo but it is what it is. You either take a chance on the things you feel you want in this life or you never do.
