AaronPleasers! How the heck are ya? It's really been too long. I hope all is going well for all the AaronPleasers out there. I hope you enjoy the new website design. I really like the new vibe. It kinda reminds me of Song Airlines (if you remember that airline), as well as loud 🍃. You know I'm always on some fly high shit. C'mon now, this is AT that you're dealing with! I hope you like it as much as I do. If you don't like the design, I probably won't care tbh. I'm improving upon my website designing skills, & I'm reasonably cool with my steady improvement. How have I been doing? Personally, I've just been working on developing & achieving my goals. It's honestly funny how life has been. While working on the website & other things, I've had some time to reflect on so much that has gone on during the past few years on my journey as a completely independent artist. If I'm being completely honest, this is extremely hard. Without a manager, agent, record label, or even an assistant, I've built this entire thing by myself; from the ground up & with my own bread. When I first started, I honestly thought that I would have more people w/ me along the way that would be able to help me achieve my goals, but that hasn't been the case. Between the snakes, entitled people, people who insist on being obstacles & people willing to sell you out in this entertainment industry, sometimes you are truly left with yourself being the only person you can trust. Obviously, not everyone is out to fuck you over, but this industry is very kill-or-be killed. Personally, I don't see the purpose of that mentality. I started making music with the desire to collaborate with some of my favorite artists, but a lot of this shit is just so political. For some reason, there's such an air of competition on the "Road to Success", that people decide to resort to the "crabs in a bucket" mentality. For me, it's not really like that. I don't see myself in competition with anyone, creatively or financially. I've always understood that everyone is on their own journey. That's why it's so funny to see how there have been so many people in my way. I'll never give my obstacles the light they feel as though they deserve because if you decide to willingly try & stop whatever I'm doing, I'm just gonna steamroll over you. Like you'll never be my competition because you truly can't compete where you don't compare 🤭. Sometimes, people know that they can't really stop you from succeeding, so they try & sow lame seeds around your success. I've been thru this many times. I never trip because a real winner will always see those crops from lame seeds, & pull them from the root. I've had to learn some really tough lessons; too many to even write about right now, especially over the last 2 years. I try my best to take it all in stride & understand that there are always going to be situations to deal with. The only thing that really matters is how you overcome those situations & continue on to the success that you strive for in life. It's not always easy, but nothing worth having in life is THAT easy, even though some pretty cool things can definitely come to you easily. Again, I try my best to take it all in stride & learn any lessons I need to learn in order to move forward & enjoy my life.

On the brighter side of all my "obstacles", I still haven't been soured on this World that I live in. I do understand that some people absolutely suck, but that's honestly their problem to deal with. I still know that there are some dope people out there because I've been around, worked with, enjoyed the company of some pretty dope people. Personally, I try my best to do the inner work to be the best version of myself so that when dope people interact with me, we create dope moments together & do cool things. It seems embarrassing to be so self-absorbed & narcissistic, that you don't see how much of an asshole you really are. One thing I've noticed about those type of people is that they are never truly happy. There's always a problem, some drama, or a scheme going on w/ them. I would truly rather not deal w/ that. I'm very solution-based, so people who bring problems turn me off. That's why I've been extremely cautious about building my team & hiring employees for my companies. I need some W people to help me with these goals I have & eventually, we will connect & grow further. Until then, I work on what I need to improve on, creatively, financially, & most importantly; mentally. Being the boss truly does have a cost, & the cost is getting your head screwed on right. Nobody wants to work for a wack-o, & I've been blessed enough to keep a steady head during A LOT of chaos I've been thru on my journey. There are definitely times where I get tight, & may go on a Twitter (X) rant, but honestly going thru so much alone can take a rough toll on anybody. Luckily, I have a gift of being able to see the brighter side of things; shoutout to God <3

Anyways, I just wanted to do a quick lil check in for the end of the month. Tomorrow is the start of Black History Month, so be prepared to show love to the black people in your life. If you want to support a black-owned business, you can cop some clothes from Dripperella before the new season comes out (🔜👀). Also, Chinese New Year is on Feb 11th, so "Gong hei fat choy!" if you'll be celebrating. If you don't celebrate Black people nor Chinese people, there is also Valentine's Day next month, so you might want to get ready for that. I, personally, don't have a Valentine's in-sight rn, but you never know fr. What I do know fr is that I won't be spending my Valentine's Day w/ a dummy. AT is exclusively for the smart cuties out there. I can't spend my time w/ anything less tbh; I've wasted enough time w/ the contrary 🙄, but luckily, I have a better understanding of my worth 💎😉. Anyways, please enjoy your February 2024! February is so loaded w/ activities. I hope you choose your activities wisely, & with W in mind. Always remember: W breeds W.

One last thing I want to briefly say about before I head out: Everybody makes mistakes on their journeys. What is truly important is being able to learn from the mistakes you've committed. Unless you do some truly evil shit, you will always have the chance to come back & do better. Yes, there are some things that you will never get a second chance on, but being able to learn from the mistake that ruined whatever for you will allow you to never make that mistake again. Truly, most things are redeemable; just keep it real. You never know who you might help by learning & improving from your mistakes. I know I have DEFINITELY fucked up & made mistakes, but I always learn. That's what makes me better, honestly. Start w/ the acknowledgement of your mistake, & continue with making the conscious effort to improve & move forward. I swear you will become a better person because of it.
