What is going on beautiful people?! It deadass has barely been a week since the last T&P & so very much has happened in this short amount of time. This week has been so crazy. Dawg. What the fuck fr? Where do I even start? Like?? Deadass, I'm typing this in Times New Roman like a high school essay because this might be kinda long, but if we're rockin', we're rockin! Where do I begin?

Ah, I know where to start! Just ordered some Chinese food! What was the order, you ask? I actually got two: a General Tsos Chicken combination with Lo Mein & an order of Chicken Wings & Garlic Sauce w/ Pork Fried Rice (1 for tonight & 1 for tomorrow). They say Chinese food is unhealthy, but clearly, America doesn't have our true best interest at heart, so who cares! Actually hold up, it just arrived. Brb<3.......

Ok, I'm back! I just chowed tf down on my General Tsos Chicken. Nah fr, shoutout to General Tsos for lacing up his chicken recipe & making it public domain. You know I had to buss down on an egg roll too! Sounds like some fatty business but honestly, I'm good. I'll hit the gym tomorrow or something. Right now, let's talk about some music!

First of all, I hope you all enjoy the songs from the previous post. REMEMBER: "ATMIX I" is coming on 📅! We can talk about that another day closer to that time because I have waaaay more to say about that amazing ass Beyoncé record! "Break My Soul" by Beyoncé was some high grade pack. My goodness! It featured Big Freedia, who created a feminine-masculine energy to match Beyoncé's masculine-feminine energy. I hope that doesn't come off as "offensive" or anything because I'm not sure how else to put it. Beyoncé carries a masculine energy that a lot of men can never tap into, but there's a solid femininity about her. She truly embodies duality & this song was a major expression of her duality. All week, I've been waking up early, sipping my canna-coffee that I laced up, & just bump, bump, bumped. Also, it's amazing because this is a Pop record. I hope Billboard, BDS, & another organization give her the respect that she has earned. If not, that'll just be another mark on their credibility. I'm sure Beyoncé will be more than fine. I mean, have you seen her??? Also, big shoutout to Drake for giving us the dance album we all knew he could make. I saw this tweet about how Beyonce gave House & Drake gave Apartment, which was lowkey accurate as fuck. That may sound like an insult, but quite the contrary! "Honestly, Nevermind" was 1) rooted more in EDM than House, & 2) he was barring the fuck off. I know not everyone listens to lyrics but I do. Fam, "I million'd"??? C'mon. As music consumers, we really have never heard this before. It's like "street" EDM. If you listen past how different it is, you'll hear & understand how iconic this will be. Drake is literally the funniest rapper of all time & with that hilarity, his creativity shines thru. He's being himself & as someone who values that in a person, I respect that. Shoutout to both him & Beyoncé because without them, none of us artists would really do what we do fr. Think about what they've done for streaming!

Another music story I saw, which I'm not going super deep into, is that one of my favorite R&B artists, H.E.R., is suing her management label for violating the FAIR Act & not allowing her out of her contract after seven years, which is the limit stated in the statute. After reading The Rolling Stones article, I've gathered that, her management label, who I've given props to, in the past, for helping her organize her festival, have been controlling her career & limiting her career opportunities, which controls her revenue. As we all know, businesses need revenue & as a business, H.E.R. revenue was being restricted because she can't do what is true to H.E.R. This is what I've picked up from the articles that I've read about it. Honestly, I could inquire & assume more, but I have nothing to do with that woman or her label, so I don't know anything fr. However, I, specifically, went to college to study this type of stuff. When I found out how these music contracts really worked, it deadass broke my heart. I grew a resentment for the music industry & it's slimy nature. It's about control with these labels, on many different levels. That's why I chose to play the game my way, away from the certified bullshit. It's crazy because, as an artist, people will deadass try & gaslight you into thinking that they have all this power over you, but it's all an illusion. For example, when I formed Sindicate, I literally had people tell me that it wasn't real. Like what?? I did the paperwork, dummy, beat it! It's like an odd jealousy because people will deadass try to be around you just to control you & your vibe because they know how powerful you truly are inside. Personally, I don't wanna go deeper into this because H.E.R. isn't my woman to be speaking on her business like that, but what I will say is that I'm proud of this young artist making such an impactful business move & filing a lawsuit against this, clearly, unlawful business behavior. For decades, people have lied down & taken record label abuse. For a 24 y/o Black woman to be the one who could possibly set the precedence against unlawful business within the music industry, that's pretty fucking awesome. Especially during this L-Shorty pandemic, seeing W-Shorty behavior is refreshing. When it is all said & done, this is going to be a very important lawsuit in music history. I said I wasn't going too deep into it, but it really is super annoying to see another example of unreasonable oppression of women in America.

I say that to say this! The men in the Supreme Court should be ashamed of themselves for feeling as though they have say over a woman's body & her choices. Today, the Supreme Court reversed Roe v. Wade, which was initially used to stabilize the constitutional rights of women's health. Now, states are not required to provide essential women's health services to women in need, thus increasing the possibility of danger for many women in this country. If that wasn't shameless enough, the Supreme Court also ruled that NY residents don't require a "proper cause" to get a gun license... WHAT? Fam, I understand the second amendment debate & the right to bear arms, but in New York? You know how crazy this city is? Loosening gun laws is absolutely so risky. It could possibly make the state safer because it'll feel like everyone has it on them & with more registered guns, they'll be easier to track, which will demotivate people from overreacting with guns. However, this is a major risk. BUT HEY! Who do we have to lead us in NYC during these crazy times: Mayor Mixxxy! Mayor Adams is the most mixxxy man in this city. You mean to tell me a cop with a stud earring in 2022, that really be at the club, has our best interests in mind? Why are you partying with French Montana, but crushing dirt bikes like a bully? Idk, he's giving nerd w/ power & we know what that means. Lowkey, we all deserve a collective neck for electing a Super Cop. That was some dumb shit, but hopefully Mayor Adams can make the right decisions to protect the city (psst... just raise the licensing requirements). One last thing about the Supreme Court. I'm not into bringing up a black man's past to tear him down. However, Clarence Thomas, with the accusations he's had regarding violating women's health, I don't believe he should be seen as fit to judge this decision. Same with Nasty Brett! That's just my opinion though, just like they have theirs. Only difference is that their opinions, this week alone, puts our entire country at risk for so much. Politics as usual! (It's raining!!!!)

*Fun fact: Aaronplease.com is a way sexier website than supremecourt.gov. They shit WEAK!*

What else happened? Oh(Marion)! You let me down at the Verzuz, O. You really did. Usually, I don't care about this stuff fr, but I've been going hard for Omarion for a cool 20 years. You mean to tell me you overlooked "21" like that? Ok, cool. You decided to go another way, but you didn't practice singing in key? O! O! Ooo! You let me down, but it's ok! I've been let down by essential people in my life. I can get over a wild Verzuz performance. As for Mario, congrats fr. I was not Team Mario but he proved me wrong. He came to SANG on these boys & take that "King of R&B" crown. I super fw that. He came locked in. I can appreciate that.

Ok, I think that might be everything? I don't even know. I'm so exhausted. I've been doing a lot but hey! I'm doing this all for my future kids. Also, when I'm not exhausted, I'm having a great time growing. As for now, I'm gonna roll my spliff, burn this Coconut Sands candle from BBB, & listen to that H.E.R. Soulection remix up there. All I know is that H.E.R. better tell that label "drop & give me 50!" I'm excited to hear what H.E.R.*unlocked* is going to sound like because I can tell she has an iller side that she probably isn't allowed to express fr. In time, I hope we get to hear H.E.R. real evolution. Everyone reading, I want you to remember something: Times maybe getting a little scarier & tight, but we have to stick together & make it through this storm. For my fellow NYers, we made it thru Hurricane Sandy. We can weather this storm as well & establish awesome new normals. Stay safe & sexy, holla @ your crush, & listen to your favorite songs. Have a great night & amazing weekend.

Much Sexy,

Mayor Aaron

More Music Coming on 📅
06/17/2022

Here's a Promotional Double for ATMIX I, coming on Emoji Day, 📅 !

Lowkey, I hate the original version of "Superstar Girl" I released. That was back when I second guessed myself more in music. This was the original version, the Club Mix. Also, I wanted to try something different.  I gave "Can I Get Witcha" by Biggie & Cease a *DUN DUN NUH UH!* "ATMix"!

What's that you say? "ATMix"? Yeah, it's just me, AT, changing & adding to the texture of a really lovely song. If Puff wants me to take this down, I will but for now, rock out to the very first ATMix!

Also, shoutout to Drake for the "SURPRISE! *see below*" drop! Clearly he wanted to try something different as well & if I'm being super real, my dawg is going nutty! This shit is really really good. Shoutout to him. Masculine Sass Excellence! Also, shoutout to Chloe Bailey. I been waiting on that "Surprise"! record for a lil minute. Great night for music. I love music so much. Please enjoy it all!

Best,

AT

It's The Weekend!
06/05/2022 11:44am

Yo. It's a Sunday. I ate a 500mg edible earlier (No match for ya boi!) & found this video on TikTok. Yo. YO! You wanna go thru it? If you do, keep reading! Let's lock in because why was Devon from That's So Raven (Jonathan McDaniel a.k.a. Lil J) on his Joey Crack?? Fam!!

First of all, this video starts out with a phone call between lil man & his shorty with her airbrush tank that her cousin made. She's pressing my man about his evil twin, Pookie, to whom he thwarts away in a miscommunicative moment. As they hang up the phone, Uncle Ed Lover is player hating on the lil man! Although he was correct, C'mon Son!!!! Anyways, since Pookie was his ride to the party, Lil J had to figure something out but what was he to do? With many options to backdoor his suburban neighbors, he decides to take the higher route. In a moment of crisis, Papí had the keys & Lil J had the love. Papí understood lil man needed to get something done & didn't mind helping him out because we all gotta make it happen somehow, & also, Papí was tired of that whip anyways. He was focused on Angela Conwell! I don't blame him! However, since Papí didn't care about that BMW, he doesn't put gas in it forreal. I can tell you from personal experience, BMW gas is fucking expensive. Especially these days?? Shitted. Shoutout to Papí for focusing on what really matters.

Anyways, since the car ran out of gas, my man was in a deep rut. What was Lil J to do? You already know God got Lil J! Out of nowhere, a slightly older, freshly licensed girl rolls up in her dad's freshly leased Porsche. You know Lil J had to steez up. Since girls love bullshit & her dad probably works a lot, shorty let's Lil J hop in the driver seat. Lil J, overcome with excitement of finally being able to drive a Porsche, crashes the whip (Sidebar: Lil J did it BEFORE Lil Pump! This was the early 2000s). This car accident results in head trauma that created a 'Michael Jackson dance break' delusion. As he bounces back to reality, he remembers he doesn't have insurance or a license. The cops have been called, but since it's not really his problem, he books it to link with the shorty he truly loves; the one he did it all for. After hopping a few fences & encountering a few dogs, he finally meets with his 4Ly. They share a dance; the dance they've been dreaming of since Thursday in History class: a respectful whine & twist, with space for God! FIN!

What a journey! Shoutout to Lil J! Ed Lover was absolutely correct. He had no home training. The streets had to train him. Why you think he was so comfortable talking to Papí? His parents know Papí! They conceived Lil J after hearing a Gloria Esteban extended mix at one of Papí's parties. I wonder what happened to shorty with the Porsche. I bet her dad was tight, but she probably just had to cry & it was straight. Since her dad has money, his insurance policy blinged off & covered that whole lil problem. She has now learned to never let just anyone drive her car. Lil J was a hood celebrity, but you don't know his driving record! I wonder what happened with Lil J & his 4Ly<3. They definitely stayed together long enough to become the first couple to get fly on MySpace. That's how much of a trendsetter Lil J is. As a trendsetter, Papí probably gifted him a Sidekick for his birthday for getting rid of that depreciating asset car. With that Sidekick, Lil J would check on Porsche shorty, whom he had run into at the town fair. Evil Twin Pookie was trying to get on with shorty, but Lil J hit the brakes on that. Since they had history, shorty & Lil J reminisced about what happened, shared a laugh, & one laugh turned to two, two laughs turned to three, & three laughs turned to a one dance. Long story short, 4Ly saw those text messages. It broke her heart </3 but she should've listened to Ed Lover! That boy ain't got no home training!

Ok, outside of the Lil J Universe, the early 2000s was nuts. I could talk about so much stuff that I'm kinda side-eyeing. For example, why was Kandi Burress, who wrote & sung the hook of that song, not in the video at all. Like I get she was older but you couldn't pick a girl that at least resembled her? That girl who played yellow Porsche shorty doesn't even look like Kandi, let alone sing at all! She was very much giving Vanilli! That was the early 2000s though! The fits in the video shows the whole vibe: backwards jerseys, durags & headbands, velour, etc. Even the breaking-the-4th wall shots were fitted down. However, go & skip to 2:32 of the video at look at my man's goatee..... I'll wait...... fam. Why is that lil boy wearing that bullshit on his face? I know his parents laughed when he came downstairs with that unserious ass beard. Hey, but jokes on us! He was dancing forreal!! Last thing, Lil J, I hope that R. Kelly line was just a namedrop. Stay away very far away from that mf!

Anyways, this edible ain't hitting nothing yet! Ya boi is still chillin. It's cool though. I'm craving McDonalds so I might go & handle that. I know people look down on that but I don't care. Enjoy your Sunday, your way. Actually, I could get Burger King, but then I can't have McDonald's fries. I'm not going to mix fast foods like some fatty psycho. Make sure to raise the roof like Lil J wherever you may end up today.

Holla,

Lil A

Free YSL!
06/03/2022 10:08pm

What's going, people? It's been quite awhile since we last spoke. A WHOOOOLE lot has happened since we last spoke too. I haven't been keeping a list but there are definitely some things at the front of my mind, as well as some stuff in the back of my mind, but we'll see if we get there. Honestly, so much has happened that I don't know where to even start.

What I've been thinking about a lot has been YSL & the charges they are all facing. Like many others, this is super upsetting to hear &, on a very low level, know about. I'm not going to speak too much on what I don't know but there is something that has been killing me about this whole thing. For some reason, I feel as though the lack of true payment within the industry has had an extreme impact on why this case is even a thing. Maybe if music companies weren't so greedy & power-hungry, people wouldn't have to resort to other means of income to support themselves & their families by providing their essential art. For example, have you heard the song I posted up there? The song is "Dr. Sebi" x "Powder Blue" by Ty Dolla $ign featuring Young Thug & Gunna. (The slowed version, of course. This is AaronPlease!) This song is truly wonderful! These gentleman make such good, valuable music! I don't know how much this song may have sold for, or whatever, but there are so many other amazing songs in their catalogs. Why would they, allegedly, turn to obscure streams of income? Because they probably weren't being paid what they're supposed to.

That's America though!!!!!!!!

It sucks that America is like that. They will fuck you on some money shit, but chastise you for doing what you need to do in order to survive. Craziest part of it all is that the stuff that a lot of people chastise is usually stuff they end up liking or doing. For example, do you really believe that the Atlanta DA doesn't shake ass to "Go Crazy" or "Hot"? I deadass don't believe it. She looks like she turns up fr, so I'd bet YSL in 5! I don't know though. We'll all see what happens. We just need to be supportive of the artists we enjoy when things like this happen. I believe everything will work out for the greater good. As for now, R.I.P. KEED & FREE THUGGA, WUNNA, & THE ENTIRE YSL!

Ok, what else has gone on? So much! Diddy remixed "She Don't Want It" by Bryson Tiller! I'ma need that & "Surprise" by Chloe Bailey. The last 4 in the bridge of that song is tight as fuck. Speaking of tight as fuck, Happy Pride Month! I'm not apart of the community fr, but I'm an ally. I feel so corny saying that. Being an ally is literally just being a decent human being. I absolutely support anybody's right to love & fuck! If you're deeply thinking about who someone else, who isn't your partner, is fucking, you are currently fucking up. Worry about what you need to do in order to be happy. That will almost always align you with what you truly want. But in America, they make it hard! Like there are elected officials trying to twist a massacre to fit their pro-gun narrative. Over 15 children died & these guys wanna make simple humane decisions harder than it ever has to be. Then, we have Joe Biden not doing anything, when he literally has the power to do so much. Hmm, maybe he's just scared to make a decision because he's a nerd. Idk if I was president, I would figure something out. Y'all pick politics over public safety & it will always rack my brain. The solution is so simple that I'm just gonna give you the rizz:

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO IS RAISE THE AGE TO BUY FIREARMS, INCREASE THE QUALIFICATIONS TO BUY FIREARMS, & REQUIRE SPECIAL LICENSES FOR ASSAULT WEAPONS!

That story broke my heart & it sucks that we either have to suck it up & become desensitized, or fight this emotional uphill battle over & over again. It's not right that parents have another thing to be scared about for their kids. Fear stays with people & sitting back & allowing kids to be traumatized, & don't forget to mention, KILLED, is pretty fucked up. Idk. If Joe Biden doesn't want a presidential legacy of pure shit, which we will make sure he knows he has, he has to do something of urgency.

Switching gears, shoutout to Johnny Depp & Amber Heard. I didn't watch any of that trial because I don't care about this fr, but from what I've heard, shorty shat on Johnny's bed, cut off a piece of his finger, & did coke on the stand. Yeah, that's an L-shorty. Happy those two are away from each other & this case is over. I don't wanna keep hearing about it. However, there is an L-shorty pandemic. So many of these women feel as though they can do no wrong because they're women, but they lack the required respect to be given the respect they feel they deserve. You can't treat people like shit & expect them to just be ok with it. That's some entitled shit that will definitely leave you lonely & broke, like L-shorty.

Anyways, shoutout to the Rangers. I went to Game 6 of the EC Semi-Finals @ MSG & my goodness! I felt it & completely understand the vibe. The Rangers are on some winner shit. I understand the difference between Knicks games & Rangers games & Knicks fans gotta step it up! Fam, idk who Dancing Larry is, but the biggest shoutout to my dawg. Also, shoutout to Igor! 40 shots to the body & only 2 were scored. That guy is different with that goalie shit. Rangers FTW! I'll definitely be tapped, just like I'll be locked in with the NBA Finals with the Warriors & the Celtics. Shoutout to the Knicks because we beat the EC champions 3-1 in this regular season's series. So, you may make an argue that the Knicks won the Eastern Conference 🎉🏆! Also, we're gonna do something WISE with that #11 pick.

Ok, ok, ok! I'm about to finish up. What did I do today, you ask? I actually had quite a day! Thanks for asking! I woke up at like 12am, made a remix of a song that I'll probably show you guys one day, ate some breakfast, paid my rent, went swimming for the first time in awhile @ like 6:30am, worked 8 hrs, ate some Sarku Japan, & now I'm typing to y'all! There's also so much more I wanna tell y'all but not yet! I gotta smooth a few tings out before I announce some stuff, but you know me & how I do! I'm a winner, so I'ma do some winning. Thank you for reading my POV. I'm grateful to have you attempt to understand my perspective. As a black man in America, it really isn't easy to express yourself without all the yap yap yappity yap. You have to make your platform & I'm grateful to be able to have done it. Also, I'm super grateful that I MAKE IT LOOK SEXY!

Stay Blessed, Healthy, & Safe,

A-Twix

P.S. Kendrick Lamar's album "Mr. Morale & The Worldwide Steppers" is a conceptual masterpiece of music. That man bared real scars for y'all & you're worried about him accurately describing old homophobic behavior that many people used to have? Yeah, you can eat a pair of shorts. Re-listen & understand or stay ignorant. It's not my problem. Just know that gentleman, Kendrick Lamar, did something extremely special with that album & I'm grateful to have heard it.
